Welcome to Alternative Loan Counseling for the Global Aviation Degree at Utah Valley State
College! Alternative Loan Counseling is separate from the Federal Loan Counseling, which must
be completed by those students seeking Federal Financial Aid.
The information being provided in this loan counseling session is designed to educate all
UVSC Global applicants regarding the effective use of alternative funding, and the steps
needed to secure an alternative loan. The goal of the UVSC Financial Aid and Global Aviation
Departments is to protect the Global student from the potential hazards linked to borrowing
substantial amounts of money for their educational purposes. To accomplish this goal, the
